I believe I saw a young bald eagle (no white markings) as it flew low across the intersection of W. Cloverdale Ave and Forester Ave. It was larger than a turkey buzzard which is common in the area. The reason I think it may be a young bald eagle was the shape of the beak. We have several varieties of hawks in the area with the red-tailed hawk the largest. What I believe is a young eagle was larger than any the red-tailed hawks I have seen.
