Male and females seen in the backyard. Laying eggs on scarlet milkweed and using nectar of various flowers mainly pentas and Jatropha. I am informed by Biosphere Nursery (on a run to pick-up more milkweed) that scarlet milkweed is the only milkweed that has success being grown in our area both for the nursery and keeping it alive by customers.
