I watched the Monarch butterfly feeding on the nectar of my heirloom zinnias which were planted next to the milkweed, which had not bloomed yet. The swamp milkweed had been planted from seed this year, so hopefully next year there will be lots of blooms. The monarch moved from bloom to bloom; flew a short distance and returned to the same bloom or blooms several times. I don't see the picture I tried to upload, so I hope you got it.
