only one female Monarch was sighted in our garden, laying eggs. By the next morning, many of the eggs were gone but I managed to get 6 tiny caterpillars and kept them going in the kitchen and six beautiful butterflies finally emerged. Five females and one male and we hope they are wending their way to Mexico. No Monarchs here last year, so this is a hope.
