Monday was great (sept 1)........wnw wind moved some monarchs.....many monarchs hatched and feeding ...cool night gave some roosts (reported)
Tuesday: westerly wind not so good, but the monarchs were fighting it and flying low......saw many on my drive south....strangely, crossing the road directly into the wind.....
cool night but no group roosts seen
Wednesday was a rainy day.....nothing to report
Thurs (today) will be hot with a south wind......clearing tonight with cold air coming Fri and northerly winds.....
Fri-Sat-Sun should be another wave of the latest emerging monarchs......
glad to see good reports coming from western Minnesota and eastern Dakotas!!!!
