The leaves have already begun to turn here in the Hideout in Lake Ariel, PA! We noticed them turning by the second week in August. All the male hummers have left us and we only have a single female feeding here for the past 3 days now. We've seen several large flocks of blackbirds gathered together in the woods, and we have not heard the great crested flycatcher for several days now. Signs of fall are upon us.
