Driving around today looking to tag some monarchs. Seen 40+ while driving around. Then I came across a small clover/alfalfa field. I seen a lot of butterfly's and stoped. There were aleast 160 monarchs and I tagged 24 of them ( ran out of tags) did a couple counts and left. Partly sunny and muggy about 82 degrees out. Cold front coming, might have to go back tomorrow and tag more.
