I saw a freshly eclosed adult male (wings were still a bit soft) intently nectaring on goldenrod on Michigan State University's campus in the afternoon. It was concentrating on feeding so much, I was able to grab it with my hands without it flying away. After I released it, it returned to nectaring. Later that afternoon I saw two more adults flying among flowers in one of the campus gardens.
