Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/05/2014

Number: 1

This is the 3rd monarch I have seen in my garden today. This female had just hatched it's wings were still wet. It kept flopping over as it landed the on lantana.
You can tell by the deep color of its wings she was new the colors are so crisp and bright. I did not stay long as I did not want scare her off. She was just gorgeous. Maybe it was one of my caterpillar that had hatched.
