We were eating a late supper when our grandson noticed some Monarchs flying around. He started counting them. When he got to about 12 we thought he was double counting since they were moving about. As we continued to watch we realized there were a few dozen in the birch tree. Approx. 4 hours later and they are still there. No idea what attracted them to this tree but so glad to have had this experience.
