I have 4 and 1 is a recent addition. They put on quite a show jockeying for position. I am gradually increasing ratio to 3 to 1. Less bees but they are still around and I adjusted the bee guards as far as I could without pulling them off and that has helped keep them reduced because they cant reach in too far. Funny how I read yellow is the color to attract bees and all my bee guards are yellow. I am reluctant to paint them red as I see posted maybe I will paint them over the winter when they have a good long time to dry out.
