We had 5 or 6 roosts in our big black willow trees overnight (9/6)

So here are just two of the roosts -- will try again tomorrow for better photos. We saw many butterflies gathering to roost in the dusk this evening (9/7) so fingers crossed! It was very thrilling this morning to see them waking up as the sun touched their wings and then to see them fluttering and flying off!
