This past week, September 01 to September 07, I observed 39 monarch butterflies in the City of Harrisville and at Harrisville State Park. Last year, I observed 14 monarchs during the same time period. This year from August 18 to September 07, I saw 74 monarchs as compared to 15 last year for the same time period.
