Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/07/2014

Number: 12

We were at Selfridge Air National Guard Base near Lake Huron. We were there from about 10 am to 4 pm. We were sitting in the same location pretty much all day. At least a dozen Monarchs flew past us. They were headed south. Large and beautiful. They were all cruising too. I couldn't even pull a camera out and they were just sailing past us. My daughter was in another location at the air show and she said she was seeing them all day as well. Great sign.
