I spotted a very ragged looking female laying eggs on my tropical milkweed. She had no tag and looked too old and worn to be one of my releases. She laid eggs and nectared for at least 3 hours today. Wings looked paper thin with ragged edges. I found about 12 eggs that may have been hers as they were found in the area she was laying in.
