I saw over 100 Monarchs nectaring on goldenrod around the information center at the Miners Castle formation in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan's Upper Peninsula along the southern shore of Lake Superior. Also saw at least 30 Monarchs flying along the shoreline on a trail east of Miners Castle.
