Several times a day, we have huge swarms of RT females and juvies. I don't think many stay long. Our feeders are large, but it seems I don't have to fill them as often. Our patio, with our large feeders, faces south...and a field. Throughout the day, I see 2 hummers take off across the field, sometimes a solitary one. I always feel melancholy at their departure, thinking of their long journey ahead.
