Observed an estimated 100 monarchs on the north side of a farm shelterbelt (cottonwood, elm, hackberry, redcedar)around 10AM. Most were active in flight; some still roosting in trees. Difficult to get an accurate estimate because the monarchs were loosely clustered. There might have been more that were undetected.
