I captured this with my Blackberry at about 1 PM today. Its getting colder than usual for early Sept in Winnipeg this year and I expect they will be gone by tomorrow. This female sat on a skinny little branch off & on all day for about 3 days now. There was nothing wrong with her appetite thought . when she wasn't at the Burgamot flowers and the pink ones in this photo ( I forgot the flowers name) she was filling up at one of the feeders. Long journey back ! I will miss them. I look forward to Mid May every year. Thanks, Verne J McKernan
