Sitting on our front porch this morning we saw an unusual hummingbird, short & stout as compared to the Ruby-throated hummingbirds that we are so familiar with. In research online the best we can determine is that it is probably an immature male Allen's hummingbird. Very short tail! Did Not eat at the nectar feeders at all, just went for the flowers!
