I never knew they chirp!! One female Ruby was happily chirping away as she sipped from my honeysuckle this morning. Oh, and she regularly perches on a branch while she eats or she will perch for a few moments after eating. Funny thing is, I also have a feeder which I think she has stopped at maybe 6 times all summer. She prefers the real thing!
