Although we have less hummers feeding at our feeders they seem frantic to consume the nectar. Having less birds feeding but making more nectar now than I was during the summer. Since it is getting to be cooler nights I bring in the feeders at night and replace them before daylight so the early feeders will have warm nectar, helps the birds through torpor in the early a.m.
