The last weekend was crazy with hummers. I couldn't keep the feeders full. They were zooming around like bees. It was so much fun to watch. I had one female who kept coming up to me and watching whatever I was doing. It was great. A real cold snap started on 09/10/14 and the numbers dropped to about 6 compared to th 14 last weekend. The little female is still here but three nights of 40 degree nights is going to send even her south. They will surely be missed. It is like the true end of summer when they leave.
