On the 7th and 9th of September, H U G E numbers (close to a thousand) nectared on a red clover field (sunny afternoons, temp near 70 degrees) taking our collective breaths away. Only a video camera would have encompassed the sight. (Oh, to have observed THAT roost!!!!!)
