Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/13/2014

Number: 1

Looked outside at 8 AM, spotted the lone Female at the Feeder. She appears to look "fluffy", as if she has put on extra weight. Also to mention, it got down to 38 degrees F last night, I sat back inside the darken Utility Shed, doors open, Mr. Heater going, and watched. There's also a 2nd Hummingbird around, attempts to come in occasionally, but the Resident Female chases the other away each time. The Resident Female is very territorial. When the Male was still here, she would tolerate him. They would spar & chase a bit too, but would also perch at the same feeder, at the same time !!
