Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/12/2014

Number: 5

We have noticed several Monarchs this fall flying past our windows in the afternoon . We have large flowering bushes near the building and they seem to be enjoying them as do a couple humming birds. We also have an increasing amount of milkweed plants growing in the area. We are anxious to continue our count this next week and hope the number grows. I am attaching a picture of my granddaughter with a Monarch on her finger. It was feeding on some flowers in their yard and her dad shot this picture. Priceless! We need the Monarchs for future generations!
