Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/13/2014

Number: 40

With 11 feeders, I have 9 guarded feeders and 2 communal feeders. The communal feeders disperse about 2 litres a day and all the 9 guarded feeders about 1 and one half litres in 2 days. This gives my wife and me an all day source of pleasure while ot lasts. The hammers (I believe) are Ruby Throated and at times the communal feeders look like bee hives with 10 feeding ports available on each feeder completely filled and hummers while others swarm around it waiting for an opening. Life is good while this lasts. I'll let you know when they leave.
