Here in north central Vermont we have either had many hummers at our feeders today or several hummers each feeding several times. It has been raining all day and temps have been in the 40s. We've changed the feeders to room temperature nectar (or slightly warmer) twice today. Low of 40 is forecast for tonight. This is our 27th year feeding hummers here and we've never seen so many so late in the season.
