Colonel Samuel Smith Park - also know as Etobicoke Spit is along the Lake Ontario shoreline, with the City of Toronto to the East. Between 8:30-10:30 AM, numerous adult Monarchs could be seen on the Goldenrods throughout the entire park. I am sure I under estimated the count of 1000 plus. Monarchs were nectaring and flying on the Goldenrods. What an amazing sight and one of those moments when you do not have a camera.
