Monarch numbers continued to rise in our backyard and in the lot next to our house. In 30 minutes I counted 19 monarchs flying south and one taking a break to nectar on our zinnias. It was sunny and the temperature was around 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind was coming from the SW at 7 mph.
