Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/13/2014

Number: 43

The monarchs were flying across a 15 mile wide expanse of Lake Huron from Canada to the Lexington, Michigan area. I was at the pier on the water in Lexington and counted no less than 40 adults in migration coming across the lake and going up into the pine trees on the US side in Lexington, within less than a two hour period. I have watched the migration at New Haven Michigan Beach also, of the monarchs coming across Lake St. Clair from Canada to the US side.

I am 59 years old, not school age.
