Saw three fresh males on New England asters in my backyard early this afternoon. The last few days have been cloudy and cool, with the temperature getting down to 38 last night, but today the sun came out and warmed things up to the low 60's. Wind is out of the SW. There are still a couple dozen caterpillars in the yard, so hope we can stay away from frost awhile longer.
