Monarch Waystation #299 AKA the Virginia Living Museum reports 2 tagged male monarchs, TLC#214 and TLC#224, were nectaring and chasing each other in our Children's Learning Garden today from Noon to 1 pm. Weather overcast, in the 70s. #214 had been previously sighted on 9/10, 9/11, 9/12 & 9/13 by staff and students on and off. Its behavior suggests it is not migratory but the potential dad for the next [migrating] generation.
