Observed one adult male feeding all day at 1of the 22 feeders on my property. He was trying to fend off approximately 10 females. I noticed an upsurge of feeding at all of the various feeders in general today...even noticing that as I was refilling a few it seemed that as I was in route to rehang the washed and nectar filled feeders, several frenzied hummers were impatiently swarming to get a fresh sip!!! Double the number of all hummers feeding today vs the past few days .
