With the unseasonably cool temps our area has been having this September, I was sure that the hummingbirds had all left & migrated to warmer climates. When the sun finally came out this afternoon after several rainy, cloudy & cool days this chubby little female ruby-throated hummingbird came by much to my surprise & started nectaring voraciously on our buddleia bush.
