Today was a beautiful sunny day at Kenesserie Tallgrass Prairie. Sunny 65 F.
I observed about 60 Monarchs per hour moving past the observation deck, all moving in a south-west direction. This flow continued for several hours in the afternoon and diminished to about 25 per hour by 4:00 PM.
