Yesterday, I saw one monarch nectaring in my garden as I left to pick my kids up from school. Today, I left my home at 2:30pm, it was 70F and beautifully sunny. As I pulled out of my sub and headed down the road, a monarch crossed my path--flying about 15 feet above the ground, due south. I made it to my youngest son's school, and found a second monarch nectaring on goldenrod in a nearby field. I took my son to Tim Horton's, and another monarch flew over us as we exited the drive-thru. Then we went to Olander Park, and saw a monarch nectaring on tall coreopsis next to the lake. Four monarchs in 1 hour!
