Only ten cats hatched from the thirty eggs I found, but four have already eclosed and I am releasing them 3 miles south of Brush, which takes them south of the interstate, main highways, railroad tracks and corn fields. The release point is at the north end of a vast expanse of sagebrush habitat and it appears there are plenty of wildflowers to sustain them along the way. As the Monarch flies(south)google map shows there is a riparian corridor. I believe this is the best area for me to release them.
