Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/17/2014

Number: 12

We are right on the coast of Maine at the tip of the Small Point peninsula. Yesterday, the 17th, we saw one adult Monarch drinking from flowers in window boxes where we are staying, and then walking along a dirt road near where we are, we began to see Monarchs drinking from wild flowers in the scruffy growth at the edge of the rocks and ocean. We counted around a dozen, but some might have been repeats since we walked back the same way we walked to the end of the peninsula. This morning we have seen a couple more.
