Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/18/2014

Number: 1

One of our two remaining female hummingbirds has left since yesterday.

We can it's so, because for months, any of the birds on the feeder spend part of their time eying the sky for other hummingbirds that routinely battle them. This is especially true for the sole two females we've had for the last weeks. But since early this morning there is only one bird, and she has been able to sit on the feeder, all by herself, with no need to look over her shoulder. Will leave feeder up for other migrators until October.
