Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/18/2014

Number: 1

I rear monarchs and I was helping a monarch that was unable to fly, get some nectar from my wildflowers when a green hummingbird flew to the adjacent flower and proceed to drink. The hummingbird had no concern at the fact I was less than a few inches away and stayed for what seemed like 10 seconds or so. I felt very privileged.
