Heavy rainstorm last night. Sun out this morning about 11am, temp about 90 degrees. Female adult monarch came into the yard where there are numerous blooming tropical milkweeds and mist flowers, and blooming lantanas.. She was nectaring and seemed to be laying eggs on the milkweed, but I could not find the eggs.. She stayed for several hours..I live in the Hudson Bend area near Lake Travis (near Austin).. First adult Monarch I have seen in the yard this fall!!!!
