Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/19/2014

Number: 2

The same two females still here...they are drinking more and still zooming each other. One perches about 5' from my window on a dead hydrangea bush stick and puffs up and looks various shades of brown, preens, scratches and exercises her wings and spread her tail and flies about 3' to the feeder and returns to green color..so beautiful to watch.. then she goes to feed her size reduces by half...just wonderful...they usually are gone by the first week of October...the other female is forced to feed from the other feeder I put up for them.
