Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/19/2014

Number: 4

We still have about 6 of our 10 feeders out, I was filling about ½ of them every other day or so. We haven't seen a male since Labor Day weekend so the activity has greatly diminished. We still have a few females that are quite territorial over the feeders in spite of the lack of crowds now. They are so comfortable with us they often roost nearby for long periods of time & fly right up to us & they LOVE to look in our windows & see what we're up to inside!
