Pupa that was formed 9/4 (see earlier post) 4 eclosed around 7:30 am. A female. At 10:30 it moved to another nearby twig on its camellia bush. At 11:00 it left the camellia bush and flew about 20 feet away and perched on a crape myrtle branch about 15 feet off the ground. While it sat there for 2 hours and twenty minutes, I spied another monarch flying across my house headed southwest. The one on the crape myrtle finally moved to another branch in the same tree, but about 10 minutes later I lost sight of it!
