Have not seen a male ruby throated hummingbird for at least a week. Still have at least two females that are drinking often and battling for the two feeders. However, the numbers are definitely down from about a month ago. Typically, our hummers leave right at the beginning of October, so the females are gorging themselves for their long trip.
