Several years ago we happened to be at Salisbury State Reservation taking photographs. The monarchs were everywhere! We've gone back at approximately the same time the last two years without seeing a one. The weather was cloudy and cold and had given up this year. As we left the beach for the last time, there we finally saw an adult! On the way out of the reservation another (or it could have been the same one flew across the road exiting the campground.)Unfortunately the cameras had been put away so we didn't get pictures. Hope this is a sign that things are looking up!
