Two monarchs arrived at different times, one stayed 20 minutes and the next one 25 minutes. They stopped to feed at our butterfly bushes. The weather has been quite good still and we have been seeing a lot of painted lady butterflies the past two weeks. Three days ago I counted eleven of them. They think they have this territory to themselves and try to chase the monarchs away, but the monarchs move to another bush to eat.
