Birds are keeping very close to the feeders and trying to drive others away. They eat & then sit watching the feeders & flowers. They immediately drive others away as soon as they arrive in the yard. As soon as the birds chasing each other are out of sight, others come in to quickly feed. Had lots of thunder & lightning last night & activity is lower today. 3 of the 4 birds I could observe closely today have not previously been at our window feeders. Have not seen a male for 2 days. Lots of juvenile males though.
