The females finally started coming after a day break of no male Rubies but 2 stayed on the 16th. Then the rains came from the Hurricane from Cabo and more wet Ruby-throats came and upset the bunch here. Then it rained for three days with more wet Ruby-throats coming in upsetting the bunch some more. The Rufous hangs onto his vine in the kitchen window daring any hummingbird to enter then chaseing off. I put a hanger for him to rest on, and bought him a Leland Cypress to perch on. He did look at the tree, but he likes the vine the best still.
